![]() Large traditional brackets just aren’t our style. I was determined to find brackets that would look good and would be low profile. Unfortunately, our slab is only 1 inch thick. Floating shelves need to be at least 1.25 inches thick (1.5 inches is best) to have room for the brackets to go inside the wood without splitting.
